Blackwell police confirmed Wednesday that Ryan Walker was arrested in connection with a domestic disturbance earlier this month that left him hospitalized with multiple stab wounds.

Walker was booked on complaints of domestic assault and battery, according to Blackwell Chief of Police Jay Brewer.
The charges stem from an incident reported at approximately 3:16 p.m. May 9 at a residence located at 917 S. B St., where officers were dispatched following reports of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found Walker suffering from several stab wounds. Investigators determined the incident began as a domestic altercation involving Walker and a female at the residence, during which the woman’s 18-year-old son allegedly stabbed Walker multiple times.
Walker was transported by ambulance to Blackwell Regional Hospital before being airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, for further treatment.
The 18-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the scene and arrested on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing and additional information may be released as it becomes available.
