Jeffries pages for Rep. Pfeiffer

April 14, 2026

Bodie Jeffries, a senior at Blackwell High School, served as a page for Rep. John Pfeiffer, R-Orlando, from April 6-9 at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
Bodie is the son of Justin and Heather Jeffries. The family lives in Newkirk.
The Oklahoma House Page Program offers current high school juniors and seniors a unique opportunity to learn how state government works. While they are at the Capitol, pages shadow their representative and observe daily legislative activities. They attend committee meetings and sessions on the House Floor. They participate in their own mock legislative session, reading and debating either their own bills or those written by peers. Pages also participate in other leadership and civic engagement activities, and they meet and foster friendships with students from across Oklahoma.
Bodie is valedictorian of his class and maintains a 4.0 grade point average. He is on the Principal's Honor Roll and a member of the National Honor Society. He is class vice president on Student Council and vice president of his FFA chapter. His extracurricular activities include shooting sports agronomy and showing pigs. He said he's also had a successful career in livestock judging, including achieving third place at a national level livestock judging contest in 4-H, and then internationally at competitions in Scotland and Ireland.
"Bodie and I have a lot in common through our FFA and 4-H experiences and our families' farming operations," Pfieffer said. "It was good to have him at the Capitol to show him how the Legislature and state government can affect the folks back home."
Bodie plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in agricultural business before returning home to help expand and grow his family's farming operation. He also said on his page application that he wanted to learn more about how state government works as he may consider a career in public service.
"I have been involved in my family farm my entire life," Bodie wrote, "which has helped me stay informed about policies that affect agriculturists in Oklahoma as well as at the federal level. Overall, this opportunity will help me become a more informed advocate for agriculture and better prepare me for a future role in shaping policy."
