Deadline approaching for tickets to Blackwell Hall of Fame Banquet
March 04, 2026
The Blackwell Public School Foundation will hold their annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, March 26th at 6:30pm in the Kay Room at Kay Electric. Richard Q. Tiu will be recognized as the 2026 Hall of Fame Inductee. Richard is a Blackwell High School graduate from the class of 1996. He is the husband of Marion K. Tiu and the father to three beautiful Children.
Richard entered the U.S. Army in 1997 and retired in November 2025 after 28 years of honorable service. His assignments led him all over the world and resulted in him becoming an expert serving as the U.S. Army Unmanned Aircraft System Technician. The list of assignments, honors, medals, and awards he achieved should make all fellow alumni of Blackwell High School, Blackwell citizens, and Americans in general very proud.
The Foundation chose Richard from a long list of qualified possible honorees and is honored to induct him into their Blackwell Public School Hall of Fame.
