Reba Mae Fisher

Reba Mae Fisher, 81, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Medicalodges East.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at Medicalodges. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 P.M. at the Braman Cemetery in Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
Reba was born July 17, 1944 in Blackwell, OK, to parents Elmer and Vera (Spencer) Sheets. She graduated from Braman, OK, high school and received an associate’s degree in secretarial science from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, OK. Reba was married to James Fisher, they later separated. Reba worked at Mower Newer Meat Processing and at Rodeo Meats for several years, then worked in the home healthcare industry as a CNA for over 10 years. In her free time, Reba liked working with her hands, making an assortment of ceramics, crocheting different knick-knacks and she enjoyed spending time around horses.
Reba is survived by her son Jason Fisher (Jerry Straley) of Arkansas City, sister Glenda Gunwald of Ponca City, OK, many nephews and nieces, and many great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Naomi Fisher of Arkansas City, KS,  Richard Sheets of Braman, OK, Bill Sheets of Lahoma, OK, and Alfred Sheets of Newkirk, OK.
